GREENSBORO — Dr. George Willie Frazier, Jr. departed this earthly life Sunday, August 12, 2012.

He was born November 21, 1947 to the late George William Frazier, Sr. and Mary M. M. Frazier. George was married to the former Patricia Graves for the past 44 years and to this union two sons were born, Michael Darryl and Stacey Lamont Frazier.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with the service at 12 p.m. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

After attending Greensboro City Schools, George graduated from James B. Dudley High School. He earned his B.S. degree from NC A&T State University in Industrial Engineering. His post graduate degrees are: M.S. degree in Industrial Arts Education and M.Ed. in Educational Supervision from NC A&T State University, and Ed.S. and Ed.D. degrees from UNCG.

Left to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife, "Pat"; sons, Michael Darryl Frazier and Reverend Stacey Lamont Frazier; grandchildren, Marquis and Jashon Frazier; his kind sister, Evangelist S. Dianne (Joesephus) Frazier Brown; beloved aunts, Ernestine Spruill and Rosella Frazier; special uncle, Floyd (Marcell) Chesney: sister-in-law, Michelle (Joseph) Fulton; brothers-in-law, Fletcher E. (Claudia) Graves, Jr. and Elder Charles (Shirley) Graves; nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives and friends.

I am a little late in this post, but I will say of all the teachers in highschool, Mr Frazier sticks out the most to me!  I always enjoyed his class, and his words of wisdom.  I'm sure he is teaching them how to construct in heaven!!:)
