My how quickly 30 years has passed! Artie and still live in Guilford County, but the "urban loop" forced us to move from our home of 16 years on Guilford College Road. Although we live in High Point now, we both work in Greensboro. I work for Bradley & Ball Architects in the Guilford College area and Artie retired from the Post Office and now sells lawn mowers, part & service at Branson Tractor South on High Point Road near Hilltop.

We have been blessed to watch our 3 children grow up into amazing adults, and see their lives unfold in ways that only God could have planned. Life is an adventure just keeping up with our family.

Ben, our youngest was the first to marry back in 2005. He and his wife Rhonda and our first Grand baby Halle, live in Rhonda's hometown, Cranbrook, BC, in the Canadian Rockies. We’ve enjoyed several trips to visit them and see the awesome beauty that they look out the window at, every day.

Our first born, Beth tied the knot with Kellen in Feb 2008. Kellen was born in Montana, grew up in Brazil, but they met in South Korea, where they both taught English at the same school. We visited them in Korea while they lived there. Wow, that was quite an experience. They now live in the town Wake Forest where Kellen is a full time student at Southeastern Seminary working toward a Masters in Divinity. He is an Ensign in the Navy preparing to be a Chaplain.

October of 2008, our daughter Joanie said "I do" to her sweetheart, Justin. After a honeymoon at the NC Outerbanks, they loaded up the Subaru and drove 4000 miles to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, where Justin worked and lived for 2 years prior. We have enjoyed visiting them and exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island. It is an area of indescribable natural beauty. I am still amazed at the purple starfish! I just love them :)
We are very excited as Justin and Joanie are expecting their first baby this July.

We never imagined our children would have such far reaching lives, but our lives are blessed because of it. Who knows what the future holds? We enjoy watching it unfold and being amazed time and time again.

I have always loved pottery, so a few years ago I started taking a class at the Cultural Arts Center. I quickly developed a habit.
